Vitamin A Scare: Medical Fear Tactic?
Per the article, Is Vitamin A Really Toxic, you saw examples of scientific studies using extremely high dose Vitamin A (as high as 300, 000 IU) with no side-effects!
In fact, the patients displayed significant improvement!
Or were these patients some form of super humans?
One problem with many proclamations that any supplement is toxic lies in the misconceptions and “half-truths” that are presented to the public based on so-called research. You may see a statement, for example, saying, “Vitamin A is toxic…two deaths reported in study”. Of course what happens next? People become scared that if they continue to take the supplement, they too may die.
Fear tactics (better known as propaganda) always work better than the truth, especially when the dogma that drives the fear (AMA, FDA, Big Pharma, etc.) is used to control what people should believe or what they should not believe.
And they are very successful at this tactic! Just take look at the rising statistics of major health conditions such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and autoimmune diseases!
However on the flip side, if the study had told you everything about the conditions surrounding the deaths, you would find that there was a lot more to the study than what you were allowed to know…a lot more! After all, the people in charge of the medical dogma know the general public will not read the entire research paper, nor understand most of the terminology used in the research, nor pay a fee to read the research paper!
So, regarding those two deaths in my example above (or with any research for that matter), all questions need to be answered such as:
- Were those patients sick with a potentially fatal disease in the first place?
- Were they also taking prescription drugs (they almost always are)?
- Was the Vitamin A (Vitamin E, or some other fat-soluble supplement) synthetic or from a natural source?
When all of the information is presented along with adding some common sense, then perhaps we will start turning around the increase of reported health conditions and diseases by fueling our bodies with what it craves…nutrition (including Vitamin A) and whole organic foods!
