Turmeric: Nature’s Wonder Spice
Turmeric is well known for it’s anti-inflammatory proprieties and because of this is why I drank this amazing drink 3 times per day in order to help recover my health.

It has historically been used by many cultures for its health enhancing properties. Curcumin, the active substance found in turmeric, is more than a powerful antioxidant. Studies are now proving what Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine practitioners have known for thousands of years – this healing spice is truly a miracle medicinal root!

“curcumin may be used as an effective and safe modality for treatment in patients with MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) without concurrent suicidal ideation or other psychotic disorders.”
Here’s something super interesting – by simply adding black pepper, enhances the absorption of curcumin by an astonishing 1000%!
So here is my recipe for this wonderful drink!
Golden Milk (or Turmeric Tea) is a great addition to your daily routine. This warm and soothing beverage not only contains the anti-inflammatory properties of both turmeric and coconut milk, but it also helps to enhance the immune system and promote relaxation.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1-2 Tablespoon Turmeric
- 1-2 Tablespoon Black pepper
- 1-2 Tablespoon Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon of Honey
- Splash of coconut oil
Options:
- 1-2 Tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 scoop Maca protein
Blend all the ingredients and enjoy! And Remember – Always Organic!
It’s also extremely delicious cold especially on those hot summer days!
