Genetic or “Life-Styletic”
Is it really Genetic or is it “Life-Styletic”?
We often are told about “genetic factors” as a risk in all major diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and diabetes.
In other words, if a family member has had the condition (whatever it is), then there is a strong possibility that you may also suffer the same fate.
Although I once embraced this theory, I no longer subscribe to its predetermined scare tactic.
I do feel, however, that any gene can be “turned on” (or off) given a weakened immune system.
Allergies, for example, are considered a minor, but common health condition that can be attributed to a weakened immune system. Has anyone ever wondered how human beings can be so allergic to so many “natural” things nowadays? We have basically become allergic to earth!
It isn’t a secret that in the case of genetic factors, bad lifestyle habits passed down from generation to generation exert a large influence. Is it a gene that entices people to eat McDonald’s Big Mac’s or other non-foods?
In families that have a predominance of type 2 diabetes, it is not uncommon to find that the entire family is obese, from parents to offspring. All eating the same diet and engaging in little to no exercise, in other words, overweight and malnourished at the same time!
Isn’t about time that we start looking at the real cause of diseases such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular issues, and cancer instead of creating more and more chemical-driven pharmaceutical drugs to suppress the symptoms?
Well, as long as billions of profits and the mass-mind-control of the public reign supreme within our “modern medicine healthcare system”, with the government in full support, the answer to that question is…
sadly…absolutely not!
