Dangerous Vitamin E?
Yes to Rat Poison! No to Vitamin E!
Are we CRAZY?!
Why do we bow submissively to drugs of all kinds and back away in fear when it comes to natural therapies?
I can say this for sure, marketing has limitless power and the AMA, FDA, and conjunctive pharmaceutical companies play the marketing game with pristine expertise!
Vitamin E Therapy in place of Coumadin, for example, is not a new concept. Although many medical doctors would have you believe that Vitamin E is dangerous! So instead, you elect to take Coumadin… after-all, your doctor advises it.
There are other doctors who believe differently…and have the research to prove it.
Drs. W. Shute and E. Shute were pioneers in these therapies in the 1940s by regularly recommended dosages ranging from 400 IU to as high as 8,000 IU daily without seeing any toxicity!
Naturally, as with any medical doctor daring to step outside the medical profession stronghold (drugs only for disease treatment) were profoundly criticized and labeled quintessential “quacks”.
The reason?
Because after their so-called “research”, it was “determined” the Vitamin E was ineffective and even dangerous (see Does Vitamin E Cause Strokes?)
Well, how selective can this so-called “conclusion” be?
Dr. Abram Hoffer M.D., Ph.D. said it best in his article “Vitamin E: The True Cost of Cynicism”:
“The medical establishment consoles itself by claiming that the onus for proving new findings is on the original investigator. This is merely an excuse for doing nothing. The price is enormous. How much longer will society permit doctors the luxury of doing nothing, especially when the suggested treatments are safe, economical and, in the opinion of doctors who follow these treatments, so effective?”
If medical scientists were about finding the truth, rather than going out of their way to discredit everything that doesn’t support profit, perhaps then the state of health of our nation may very well be on its way to healing rather than on its current trend…
…of increasingly poor health conditions and diseases.
